• 公共的な諸課題を解決するための市民性教育に関する基礎的研究

  社会科地理教育では、公共の精神に基づいて主体的に社会の形成に参画し、「よりよい社会の形成に参画する資質や能力」をどのように育成するのが良いのだろうか。社会科教育では、「公民としての資質・能力」の基礎を育成することが目指されており、小学校社会科が最終的に目指していることは、「よりよい社会の形成に参画する資質や能力の基礎を培うこと」であり、教育活動を通して学校と地域社会が相互に連携し、持続可能な社会」を構築することである。 現代社会に生きる子どもたちには，国際社会における平和で民主的な国家・社会の形成者として、社会に主体的に参加し課題を解決する力の育成が求められている。知識基盤社会においては、国境を越えて、イノベーションに対応し、またイノベーションを創発できる幅広い知識と柔軟な思考力が求められる。また、言語、文化、民族、宗教、世代、ジェンダー等をまたいで、他者とコミュニケーションし、理解し合える能力も不可欠になる。そうであるがゆえに、すべての子どもに知識基盤社会で生き生きと活躍できるための一定水準の教育を保障することが求められている。 そこで、社会科教育における公共的な諸課題を解決するための社会参加学習について考察するため、兵庫県西宮市における小学生などを対象とした環境学習を事例とした市民性育成に関する取り組みを取り上げ、「よりよい社会の形成に参画する資質や能力」を育成する方策を検討した。現在の日本の学校教育では、教育活動を通して、学校と地域社会が相互に連携し、協力し合いながら「持続可能な社会」の構築や形成が求められている。 今後の課題としては、各地域における取り組みを類型化し、市民性の育成を目指した社会参加学習の在り方や、海外で行われている取組みを検証することが挙げられる。, 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業 基盤研究(C), 2019/03 -2024/03, 基盤研究(C), 武庫川女子大学
• A Basic Study on the Development of Citizenship in which the Regional and Field

• A Study on the Development of Teaching Material Using Geographic Information System in Junior High School Social Studies Education
