Profile

Yutaro Tsuji is a Ph.D. student at the Graduate School of Education, the University of Tokyo, Japan. His research interest lies in performance-based funding (PBF) for national universities in Japan. He has analyzed policymaking processes of the core funding for national universities in Japan using interviews with (ex-)politicians and civil servants. He also works on the analysis of reallocation effects of the PBF systems. Yutaro is currently working as a visiting Ph.D. researcher at KiTeS (CHEPS) at the University of Twente, The Netherlands.
