- 例外型直交多項式の解析と量子ウォーク理論への応用

本研究ではランダム行列の理論で現れる歪直交多項式の中でも、シンプレクティック行列と対応する特定のクラスのものに注目した。その歪直交多項式が直交多項式と対応することを明らかにした上で、対象となる歪直交多項式についてその変形理論を導いた。直交多項式の変形理論と対応する離散可積分系として離散戸田方程式が知られており、本結果からバタフライ形式と呼ばれるシンプレクティック行列の標準系に付随する離散可積分系が戸田方程式の変数を利用して得られることも明らかとなった, 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業 奨励研究, 2021/04 -2022/03, 奨励研究, 気象大学校 - 多変数古典直交多項式の探求とその応用

前年度においては、Aomoto-Gel'fandの超幾何関数の特別な場合で書けるような多変数直交多項式について調査した。その結果、3変数以上の直交多項式については2変数以下の多項式が満たしていた性質を一般に共有していないということを明らかにしていた。本年度はさらに3変数以上の場合の直交多項式について調査したところ、2変数以下で成り立つ性質をそのまま保つようなクラスが存在することを明らかにした。具体的には物理モデルとの対応関係にも重要な役割を果たすと期待されるような最隣接関係式が成立する3変数多項式のクラスを発見した。特に、3変数_Krawtchouk多項式を用いて最隣接作用を記述する3次元XXスピン鎖が対角化できることを明らかにし、スピン鎖格子上での量子状態転送について理論的な観測ができることを明らかにした。 また、有理関数を係数に持つ2階の常微分方程式の多項式解として特徴付けられる例外型直交多項式と呼ばれる古典直交多項式の拡張は，古典直交多項式がもついくつかの性質を拡張するような性質を持つことが知られている。例外型直交多項式に対してもこれまで知られていなかった古典性の拡張に相当する性質をいくつか明らかにした。具体的には古典性の拡張や離散例外型直交多項式が満たす漸化式・隣接関係式を得た。その中でも、離散例外型直交多項式が満たす隣接関係式を用いることで、出生死滅過程と呼ばれる確率過程の拡張に例外型直交多項式が自然に現れることを明らかにした。, 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業 若手研究(B), 2015/04 -2017/03, 若手研究(B), 同志社大学 - 歪直交多項式のスペクトル変形理論の構築による離散可積分系の導出とその応用

研究計画の最終年度である平成24年度では、これまで得られた歪直交多項式に関する知見を元に、アルゴリズムを実装し、数値計算へと応用していくことであった。当初予定していたこの計画は、アルゴリズム、すなわち対応する離散可積分系を得ることまでは成功したが、実際に実装するまでには至らなかった。 しかし、モントリオール大学のLuc Vinet氏、ドネツク物理工科研究所のAlexei Zhedanov氏らとの共同研究により、直交関数系の拡張概念である多変数直交多項式や多重直交多項式の研究が進み様々な物理問題への応用を行うことに成功した。以下、得られた結果を述べる。 多変数直交多項式に関しては、Rahman多項式と呼ばれる多項式系列の満たす様々な性質を明らかにし、量子状態転送問題や量子超可積分系との対応関係を示した。量子状態転送h量子コンピュータの設計にも関わる基礎的な概念であり、今回得られた結果は実問題にも非常に有益な結果につながると期待される。量子超可積分系に関しても、Rahman多項式を用いてSU(2)対称性を持つ2次元モデルを新たに構成することに成功した。この結果は特に光学につながると期待されている。 同時パデ近似問題から導入された多重直交多項式は、近年ランダム行列の理論などに活発に応用されている。今年度はこの多重直交多項式に関してもいくつかの知見を得ることに成功し、特に多重Meixner多項式にたいして、新たに対応する物理モデルを明らかにした。具体的には、同時対角化可能な、多次元調和振動子モデルの新たなハミルトニアンを構成することに成功した。この結果からさらに多重Meixner多項式の関係式を系統的に導出することにも成功した。 以上、最終年度である平成24年度の研究は、当初の計画とは違うところに到着したが、得られた結果は様々な物理問題と関連しており、十分な応用が期待されるものとなった。, 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業 特別研究員奨励費, 2010 -2012, 特別研究員奨励費, 京都大学
