本年度はなお新型コロナウィルス感染拡大の状況が続く中での研究であり、対面での研究活動が大幅に制限される中で、zoomやTeamsなどの情報ツールを用いての研究活動を余儀なくされた。主な活動は以下の通り。
（1）日本キリスト教団の諸教会が新型コロナウィルス感染状況の中で、どのような教会活動を行ってきたかについて、本年度は日本キリスト教団から出された報告や、いくつかのキリスト教雑誌（Ministry,や信徒の友、福音と世界など）を用いた文献調査を中心に行った。（2）Zoomを用いて随時共同研究者との会合を用いて研究の進め方についての研究会を行った。（3）日本の教会の状況との比較検討をするために、Web上で公開されている米国UCC(United Church of Christ)や同UMC(United Methodist Church)が2020-2021にそれぞれの教団内で実施したコロナ下における教会運営や、礼拝のもたれ方、献金の方法の変更が財政状況に与えた影響などに関する調査を先行研究の一部として研究を行った。（4）『信徒の友』7月号、日本キリスト教団出版局，2021年において、コロナ下のストレスにさらされている教会状況を踏まえ、「教会の中だからこそ起こること」と題して教会内におけるハラスメントに関する小論を依頼されて寄稿した。（5）データ分析の際に用いるグランデッドセオリーに関わる論文・書籍、またデータの社会学的の分析方法についての論文・書籍を入手して、基礎的な研究を行った。, 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業, 2021/04 -2024/03, 基盤研究(C), 同志社大学 - A study on "spiritual care" in a multi-religious and multi-cultural environment

This survey of hospitals in Hawaii, which is one of the multicultural and multireligious societies, has revealed the foundation for constructing the alleged spiritual care in a multicultural and multireligious symbiotic society where Japan will eventually arrive under the influence of globalization. First, it turned out to be "respect", that for other religions, and at the same time for every individual patient. 本研究はアメリカの映画史を宗教の観点から研究調査するものである。日本においては様々なアメリカ文化が流入しており、我々の目から見れば、アメリカは諸外国の中でも最も親しみを感じる国かもしれない。しかしながら、我々は知っているようで実はアメリカの核心は知り得ていない。その核心とは、人種と宗教との関係性を考慮に入れない限り知り得ないものである。 ビュー・リサーチ・サンターによって2010年に行われた世論調査によると、アメリカ人の41%は2050年までにイエスが再臨し、終末が訪れると信じているのである。しかも、同調査では白人の福音派の人々の58%が差し迫った終末の訪れを信じているという結果が出ている。この終末思想は世俗の文化であると見なされているアメリカ映画にも影響を及ぼし、これまで数々の終末を描いたディザスター映画の制作に寄与している。他にもアメリカン・ヒーロー像をよく観察すると、その特徴はイエス・キリストをモデルとしていることが分かる。例えばヒーローは、ひとりで戦い、彼は人間でありつつも超人であり、映画の後半で一度は痛めつけられるが再び復活して敵を倒す、などの特徴が挙げられる。 アメリカ映画の中にキリスト教的要素を見つけることができるのは、そもそもハリウッド映画業界がユダヤ人によって形成されたところに端を発している。キリスト教徒たちから不道徳な文化を社会に発信していると非難を受けたユダヤ人映画製作者たちは、やがて1930年代よりキリスト教を映画という文化を守るための盾として用いるようになるのである。 このように、映画は単なる娯楽文化のようであって、その実は宗教と人種の問題と密接に関わっているものなのである。本研究はその関係性を明らかにするものであり、特に本年度はキリスト教福音派の人々が持つ終末観がいかにアメリカの映画表象に影響を及ぼしているのかということを明らかにするため、1970年以降から2010年までの映画についての調査を行った。, 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業 特別研究員奨励費, 2011 -2012, 特別研究員奨励費, 同志社大学
