  日本の学校に成果主義がどのように入り込みつつあるのかを、新しい職の設置、保護者・地域住民による学校運営参加、学校選択の自由化などの新しい学校経営管理様式との関係において捉え、校長・教員の意識に即して明らかにした。本研究の成果は国内・国際学会、学術誌にて報告された。また、調査結果の一部は毎日新聞(東京朝刊2009年4月15日付)で紹介されるなど、本研究には学術上の意義だけでなく、社会的インパクトもあった。, 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業, 2007年 -2009年, 基盤研究(B), 東京大学
• 研究・教育評価-イギリスと日本の比較

  1.本研究チームにより、毎年、公開講演会、国際シンポジウム、及び国際セミナーを開催し、国内外の研究者を招き、「イギリスの大学評価」に関する討論を実施した。 2.平成17年1月24、25日には、連合王国よりロナルド・バーネット教授(ロンドン大学教育研究所)、マイケル・ビチャード卿(前教育雇用省事務次官・現ロンドン芸術大学長)、木谷雅人(文部科学省・大臣官房審議官)、矢野真和(東京大学教授)と研究分担者のアール・キンモンスを招聘し、大阪大学中ノ島センターにおいて国際シンポジウム「大学と社会」及び特別講演会「大学評価-研究と教育」を開催した。 このシンポジウムは、読売新聞(平成17年2月12日朝刊)において、両面2面記事で取り上げられる。 3.本研究期間中には、研究分担者のジェリー・イーズがCOE選考委員を務める。 4.研究代表者の秦由美子及び、研究分担者のアール・キンモンス、ジェリー・イーズ及びロバート・アスピノールは、ハワイ大学、オックスフォード大学、ケント大学、大阪大学、横浜国立大学、京都大学等において、日本の大学教育に関する発表を毎年実施した。 5.研究分担者のジェリー・イーズは、立命館アジア太平洋大学において国際学会を開催。 6.本研究の研究成果は、中間報告書『大学評価-データ・ボックス』及び研究成果報告書としてまとめられた(添付著物を参照のこと)。, 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業, 2001年 -2004年, 基盤研究(B)
