共同研究・競争的資金等の研究課題

• 大阪方言におけるピッチアクセント型の変化 - 語と句の音韻・統語分析
  吉田 優子
  大阪方言をはじめとする関西方言では、共通語には見られないような現象、すなわちピッチアクセントが語彙的に撥音に起こるのは、音響的にも母音の/u/とよく似た分析がされることが分かった。また、関西方言の撥音ではアクセントピークの検出もpraat分析でできることも分かった。共通語ではそのようなフォルマントの分析は見られない。これをエレメントセオリーの立場からUエレメントの主部性があるかないかの違いで起こることを提案、Uエレメントに主部性がある関西方言の撥音/N/はその拍が語彙のアクセントを持ちうる、すなわち、語の領域の主部となりうること、逆に主部性のない撥音を持つ共通語では/N/には語彙アクセントはない、すなわちその語の領域の主部にはなりえないことが分かった。 この調査結果を5月にManchester Phonology Meetingで発表し、関西言語学会の招聘として発表し、近日KLS Selected Papers No.1に研究論文として掲載されることとなっている。 2018年にはニースでのPhonological Theory Agora に出席し、貴重な意見交換や他言語における音韻現象との、比較をすることができ、さらなる研究を進める準備ができたので、これから更に統率音韻論における韻律分析を進め、理論の発展にも寄与できるモデルを考案中である。

• 韻律の多様性とその定量的表現

  日本語の韻律について,現象面から見た多様性と歌唱における韻律制御の自由度,韻律の個人性,社会的要因の影響,感情との関係,韻律情報の脳内処理に関する神経科学的検討,一般言語学からの考察を行った. (1)特殊な状況での韻律についてのデータから音響的特徴の変動幅を調査した.特殊な発声例として,幼児の矯声における高F_0,高校野球の選手宣誓における平坦F_0,母語との近さや状況による平均F_0の違いなどを調べた.また,制約付きの韻律としての歌唱におけるF_0の特にビブラートについて邦楽と洋楽(ベルカント唱法)を比較した. (2)基本周波数、ホルマント周波数等の音響的特徴と個人性との関係を物理的および知覚的に分析した.同時に,発声速度の異なる音声や,訛りなどに現われる特徴の変化についても研究した.個別音に関する研究としては,連続音声中に現れる鼻音化された/g/について,音響的ならびに知覚的な面から検討した. (3)社会的要因に由来する韻律の多様性.およびアクセント型以外の韻律の地域的多様性について,社会言語学的観点を加えつつ音響音声学的な手法を用いて調査した.具体的には,共通の台詞を種々の方言話者が発声した音声データについての知覚的な印象について検討した. (4)発話に含まれる感情と韻律の関係を多変量解析等の手法を用いて規則として抽出し,その規則に基づいた韻律で音声合成を行い,その有効性を評価した.また,百人一首の韻律やホーミーについても研究した. (5)物理量としての音のどのパラメタが韻律知覚に関与し,脳内のどのような処理によって,韻律知覚が生成されているかを,劣化音声を用いて聴覚神経科学の立場から追究し,韻律知覚生成機構の解明を試みた. (6)一般言語学の立場から,ピッチアクセント言語である日本語の韻律をストレスアクセント言語における韻律と比較することによって,音声におけるアクセント付与の普遍性について考察した., 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業 特定領域研究, 2000年 -2003年, 特定領域研究, 同志社大学
