• 情報鮮度 AoI に関する基礎理論の確立と多様な情報通信システムへの応用

  リアルタイム情報共有は，近未来における多様な情報通信アプリケーションを支える最重要機能の一つであると目されている.リアルタイム情報共有の性能評価には遅延時間を始めとする従来の性能指標では不十分であることが知られており，その解決のために近年導入されたのが Age of Information (AoI) の概念である. AoI は情報鮮度を定量化する指標であり，その応用性への高い期待から，最近では活発な研究が国際的に行われ始めている.しかし，AoI の概念を実際のアプリケーションへ応用する上で，「AoI の目標値をいかに客観的かつ合理的に定めるか」という本質的な課題に対し，十分な知見が未だ得られていない.本研究課題は，俯瞰的な理論研究と実際的な応用研究を並行して実施し，それらの成果を統合することにより，多様なシステムへ適用可能な形でこの問題の解決に取り組むことを目的とする. 本年度は，応用研究の題材として，水中画像伝送システム，車載スモールセルネットワーク，クラウドゲーミングシステム，ならびに人工知能 (AI) エッジ推論システムを取り上げ，これらのシステムの数理モデル化と解析を実施した．特に，水中画像伝送システムについては通信における物理層レベルからのモデル化に加え，深層学習に基づいて情報源・通信路結合符号化と変調を一括化する新たな手法を具体的に検討した． また，理論研究については，離散集合ならびに連続値集合上に値を取る二種類の連続時間確率過程について，AoI とモニタリング精度を結びつける定式化ならびに諸量の特徴づけを行った．, 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業 基盤研究(B), 2021/04 -2024/03, Coinvestigator, 基盤研究(B), 大阪大学
• 機械学習を悪用したサイバー攻撃に対抗するネットワークシステムの研究開発

  近年，パソコンやスマートフォンの普及に伴い，SNS，ブログ，電子商品取引など，さまざまなオンラインサービスが提供され，情報通信技術が社会経済活動に不可欠な基盤となっている．近い将来，機械学習を悪用したサイバー攻撃が出現し，その被害が爆発的に増加することが懸念されている．さらに，世間に知られていないゼロデイ脆弱性を機械学習により発見し，その脆弱性を突くことで感染を拡大させるマルウェアの出現も示唆されている．このように機械学習は日々急速に進歩しつづけており，機械学習を悪用したサイバー攻撃は今後，計り知れない脅威になり得る．将来のサイバー攻撃の脅威に対抗するにはユーザ端末やゲートウェイのみではなく，ネットワーク内部においても対抗策を講じた多重防御の確立が必要である．2020年度は「サイバー攻撃の数理モデル化」と「ネットワーク内部での対抗策」に取り組んだ．「サイバー攻撃の数理モデル化」では，サイバー攻撃の一つである自律進化型ボットネットの挙動をモデル化し，微分方程式を用いて，感染の広がりを近似的に得られる決定論的な手法を提案した．さらに，「ネットワーク内部での対抗策」では，DoS (Denial of Service) 攻撃の対抗策としてアントコロニー最適化アルゴリズムを用いたスループット抑制制御方式を提案し，シミュレーション実験により，DoS 攻撃を緩和できることを示した．また，深層学習を用いたフィッシング検知システムについても検討を行い，深層学習を用いることで，フィッシング攻撃の検知をネットワークの内部で行えることを示した．これらの研究成果は英文論文誌，国際会議，国内研究会などで多くの発表を行なっている．, 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業 基盤研究(B), 2020/04 -2023/03, Coinvestigator, 基盤研究(B), 同志社大学
• 利用者の研究練度に応じた多様な観点を統合する学術情報システム

  本年度は主に，(1)学術情報に関する多面的評価指標を扱う学術情報システムの開発，および，(2)実運用サービスと連携した評価の検討を行った。 (1)については，多面的評価を扱える，つまり複数のソートを導入できる検索システムの基盤を構築した。具体的には，書誌情報がオープンデータとして公開されているarXiv.orgおよびソーシャルメディアで言及された日本の文献を対象とし，本研究課題で開発している評価指標の一部で並び替えることのできる論文検索システムを構築した。 (2)については，オルトメトリクスで用いられる論文評価指標の時系列ベクトル表現から検知したバーストの有無や期間・回数などのバースト特性から，多様なユーザによって生み出された論文の評価について多面的に分析した。具体的には，2年間のソーシャルメディアの論文言及データから論文言及人数，CiNii Articlesの検索ログから論文閲覧人数を求め，それらの時系列変化から言及バーストと閲覧バーストを検知し，論文とそのバースト特性の関係を分析した。その結果，閲覧人数では特定の専門分野の研究者や学生向けよりも，ソーシャルメディア上の情報拡散の影響を強く受けた一般的なユーザ向けの論文がより上位にくることと，ソーシャルメディアの情報拡散と学術イベントが引き起こすバースト特性は異なることが分かった。 以上のほかにも，日本の東南アジア研究において，研究者が利用している文献の傾向を明らかにすることを目的に，雑誌『東南アジア歴史と文化』掲載論文における，引用文献の状況を調査し，引用文献の分析から，6割以上が図書に対するものであること，日本語文献以上に英語文献が引用されていることが示された。また，図書は日本語より英語文献が引用されている一方で，逐次刊行物（雑誌掲載論文等）については日本語文献の引用の方が多いことが明らかになった。, 日本学術振興会, 科学研究費助成事業 基盤研究(B), 2019/04 -2023/03, Coinvestigator, 基盤研究(B), 豊橋技術科学大学
