学校教育現場における無気力の規定因の解明:家庭環境と友人関係に着目した縦断的検討

主に以下の4つの研究が進行中である。
研究1「無気力の規定因の多面的検討と親子間の影響の検討」日本能率協会総合研究所に登録する全国のモニターから,2017年3月時点での中学生とその親1,000組を無作為に抽出し,2017年3月および2018年3月に二回にわたる調査を実施した。第一回調査データ(N = 2,000)を用いて,学校現場での調査に使用するために必要な短縮版尺度を開発した。第二回調査データ(N = 1,408)を合わせ,無気力の規定因について,親子ペアを単位としたデータ分析中である。
研究2「学校教育現場における無気力の規定因の解明」小学5年生から中学3年生までを対象として,2017年から年に一度,4年間の縦断調査を実施する。北海道の小学校2校,岩手県の中学校1校,京都府の小・中学校13校,高知県の小・中学校16校に調査協力の承諾を得て,データ収集を開始した。
研究3 「学校教育現場における無気力に関する社会・生物的要因の検討」ある中高一貫校における中学1年生から高校2年生までの全生徒を対象とした縦断的測定を開始。通常の質問紙に加えて,(1)誰がどの人の友人であるといったような友人のネットワーク情報,(2)一部の生徒からは機能的磁気共鳴画像法によって静止時・課題時の脳活動のデータを収集している。

The influence of achievement goals on prefrontal activation: Evaluation using CANTAB and fNIRS

We examined the effect of qualitatively different achievement goals on executive functions using planning task (OTS in CANTAB) for the sample of 226 undergraduate students (Study 1). We also utilized fNIRS (functional near-infrared spectroscopy) to measure the activation of the prefrontal cortex during task under different achievement goals for the sample of 111 undergraduates (Study 2). The results did not support our prediction. Effect of praise on praiser's motivation

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of praise on the praiser’s motivation. Based on the framework of achievement goal theory, it was hypothesized that praise on ability deteriorates motivation and praise on effort enhances it. It was found that the frequency of ability praise was related negatively with the implicit incremental theory of intelligence (Dweck, 1999), and positively with the implicit entity theory and other-avoidance achievement goals (Elliot, Murayama, & Pekrun, 2011). These results were consistent with findings previously obtained for the individuals who receive praise. More important, the experimental study shows that a decrease in intrinsic motivation was found in the ability praise condition, when compared with the control condition. The effect of approach?avoidance motivation on attentional control

The present study first examined the effect of approach-avoidance motivation on attentional control, specifically, as regards cognitive flexibility and stability. Results implied that the influence of motivation on cognitive control would be shown in performance difference between congruent and incongruent trials. Second, this study standardized the Achievement Motive Scale (AMS) and confirmed its reliability and validity. Third, the study investigated the relationship between approach-avoidance motivation and AD/HD and did not find any significant relationship. 個人目標における接近-回避次元が心身に及ぼす影響の検討

個人目標における接近-回避次元が心身に及ぼす影響を検討するために、本年度は大学生に対する短期縦断的調査および臨床群に対する予備的調査を行った。
大学生に対する調査は、心理学の講義を受講する284名(男性136・女性112)に対して行った。個人目標について4月に、心身のWell-beingについて4月と6月に質問紙調査を行った。その結果、Emmons(1986)に従い8つ記入させた個人目標のうち、例えば「他人に悪い印象を与えない」「授業を休まない」といった回避型の個人目標の割合は20%(SD=.18)であり、米国の結果と比較すると10%程度多かった。これらの回避型の目標が心理的および身体的Well-beingに及ぼす影響を重回帰分析で検討したところ、不安(β=-.15,p<.01)、感情バランス(β=-.11,p<.10)、活力(β=-.10,p<.10)、生活満足感(β=-.08,p<.10)に対してのみ弱い負の影響が認められた。従って、回避型の目標を持つより、例えば「人にやさしくする」「積極的になる」といった接近型の目標を持つほうが心理的適応に対してよい効果があるといえるが、米国の調査結果と比較するとその影響は弱いようである。これらの結果の一部は関西心理学会第116回大会にて発表された。また米国での調査結果を統合した論文を投稿準備中である。
臨床群に対する予備的調査は、精神科に通院する患者16名(男性9・女性7)を対象に行った。大学生群と比較すると回避型目標の割合は大きいことが予想されたが、臨床群においても20%であり差は認められなかった。しかし一方で、回避型目標と生活満足感には正の有意傾向の相関があり(r=.48)、その他の指標についても、大学生群に見られた結果とは逆の傾向が示唆された。これらの結果は学会にて発表予定であるが、今後さらに規模を拡大した調査を行う必要がある。, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research Grant-in-Aid for Young Scientists (B), 2004 -2005, Competitive research funding, Grant-in-Aid for Young Scientists (B), Doshisha University
